Events take place at the Harbor House in Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island. The Harbor House is a non-profit community service center that organizes community programs and events.

How much does it cost?

Some events over the weekend are free while others require an admission fee or donation. All profits go towards Harbor House programs and help support community members in need.

What else should I know about the Harbor House Flamingo Festival?

Events begin on Friday afternoon and run through Sunday and are open to all ages. Start the weekend out on Friday night with a Lobster Bake. Come back on Saturday for a Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Kids Carnival and Games, and Craft Fair. On Sunday, join the Flamingo 4 Mile Run or head back to the Craft Fair. Live music and other entertainment will be taking place throughout the weekend.
