Most noted as the bay, which adjoins Rogue Bluffs State Park, Englishman Bay in Washington County is also known for its rugged coastline and awe-inspiring scenery. Englishman Bay rests northeast of Acadia National Park.
From the shores of Englishman Bay, the visitor can enjoy spectacular views of the coastline and due to the rather remote location, the hiking trails and vistas are much less crowded than others in the area. Due to the calmness of the bay waters, this area is a favorite for kayakers and canoers.
